Olga Fuchs

Olga Fuchs has been at Highlands House since August 2013 and resides in the Special Care Unit. Olga is a lovely soft spoken woman with brilliant blue eyes. When speaking to her about her move to Highlands House she beamed and mentioned that it has been a wonderful four months. Having lived with her sister, it was a change to be surrounded by so many people but she has taken to the environment and enjoys it. She finds it a friendly, caring and safe space for her to be in.

When she came to the Home she didn't know anyone but after meeting people at her dinner table she has made firm friends. She enjoys taking part in activities and has especially taken to knitting and crocheting with the help of Riva Kauffmann and her group of knitters. Further she has found a group of bridge players and this she enjoys immensely.
